The JKS 2.5/3.5 Box Kit provides the same components found in some of JKS's JSPEC suspension systems excluding the shocks and springs. This is a great upgrade for owners who have a vehicle already equipped with a good set of 2.5" to 3.5" lift springs and shocks.Â
This kit comes with the remaining front track bar and sway bar disconnects to correct the front steering geometry and for improved handling.Â
Included is the JKS Adjustable Front Track Bar. This track bar is fabricated from 1 1/2 X 3/8" WALL DOM tube, and CNC formed. It also features a 1 1/4"-12 threaded adjustable end that provides fine-tune adjustability and added strength. The JKS Front Sway Bar Quicker Disconnects are considered to be one of the best sway bar disconnects available on the market today. These have adjustable lengths, they are greaseable with JKS exclusive poly-flex ball, and high misalignment ends. These also come with stainless steel mounting studs which provide an anchoring point for each end of the links which allow for easy removal and installation.Â
Front and Rear Brake Line Relocation is included and is necessary for those with 2" of lift or greater. The JKS brake line brackets will utilize the factory brake line mounting holes, as well as the locating tabs. Although the brackets were designed to work with the JSPEC system with stock lengths, they are especially beneficial at full axle droop with little modifications, and factory routing.Â
The Rear Track Bar Bracket is available as the rear track bar will need to be adjusted along with the front track bar. The rear track bar bracket will be raised to level the track bar angle while making adjustments to roll center height which will improve handling and body roll. Also, the new track bar relocation bracket will also double as a factory axle bracket brace. The factory rear axle track bar mount has been a known weak point. Therefore, by making a new location bracket out of 3/16" steel reinforces the factory bracket which will add more strength and reinforcement.
Finally, the Front and Rear Bump Stop Extensions are included to maximize suspension travel while maintaining safe compression limits. The fronts are fabricated from 2 3/4" billet aluminum, while the rear extensions are made from heavy wall steel rectangular tube. Both sets are designed to fasten directly to the axle, and are made to hold up to the perils that are associated with off-roading.
