Unlike other systems that are designed for a specific weight load, OME offers a variety of suspension systems that can be adjusted to meet the demands that the road or conditions will require of your vehicle.Design and development:The Suzuki Jimny is a unique vehicle, so developing a suspension system according to the present is a challenge for OME engineers compared to other off-road models. The Jimny uses small factory tires to be a narrow and light vehicle, so it has really unique characteristics when driving.With this in mind, OME engineers decided to create an equally unique and fun experience with this system. The original suspension gave a reasonable response to driving but was focused on driving in cities, giving better responses on highways but reducing its effectiveness the more unstable the terrain became. OME engineers have developed a solution for their suspension with new springs and impact absorbers designed to measure that will allow you to maintain the geometry of the vehicle. The end result is a widely improved, balanced and predictable driving experience, both in urban and remote environments.SpringsThe factory geometry allowed up to 40mm of elevation without interfering with the level necessary for falls or height changes. Two options for front springs and one packing were chosen to compensate for the lack of accessories as well as bumper configurations or vehicles with winches. The spring ranges remained the same as those of previous models to maintain a balanced and comfortable handling without affecting the precision. For vehicles with bar or winche, other gaskets are necessary for installation. The 10mm are available to help reach the desired height.The rear springs have been designed to be an integral part of this suspension. with 40mm of elevation, these will reach the same height as the front ones, however these can be adjusted to any height in case they have to compensate. Since the loading ability is minimal, the only spring included will be sufficient for all uses. A 10mm rear gasket is available in case you want to further customize the height of the vehicle.Shock absorbers:The updated form of the Suzuki Jimny has allowed a larger shock absorber (Nitrocharger Sport model) to be installed, unlike the previous Jimny model thatIt only allowed Nitro Gas models. This has allowed OME engineers to have more customization options, so a reimagining exercise was necessary.
