Design & Development
ARB’s engineers have designed and developed a Summit winch compatible bullbar for the QF Mitsubishi Pajero Sport. The bar has been designed to suit GLX and GLS nonsensor specification vehicles. A separate bar (PN 3434230) is being developed to suit Exceed and GSR specification vehicles with sensors.
The new Pajero Sport features a number or Safety features across the model range including, but not limited to:

• Forward Collision Mitigation System (FCM)
• Adaptive Cruise Control (ACC)

The ARB Summit bar features the latest styling from ARB including press form cover straps, ARB fog light surrounds to suit optional ARB LED fog light, three-piece split pan grill with access door for winch clutch operation and a recessed winch control box mounts for a sleek, integrated appearance.

• Buffers, Split Pan Grill and Fog Light Surround The Summit Bar for the Pajero Sport features two-piece buffers, a split pan grill, and a fog light surround that
• suits the ARB LED fog light (PN 3500910). All three components are designed to integrate with each other and the bar design.
• The upright section of the two-piece buffer has a style line to complement the fog light surround. The intersection of the 62.6mm press-formed cover strap and buffer is covered by a cover strap intersection cap to neatly finish the pressed form cover strap.
• To provide access to winch clutch handles and to assist with valuable airflow to the radiator the split pan has a three-piece grill for an integrated, OE style appearance. Dual doors allow access to winch clutch handles and to assist with driving light fitment and adjustment.

Fog Lights
ARB’s Summit bar PN 3448620 features ARB’s fog light surround that accepts ARB PN 3500910 ARB LED Fog light in conjunction with the OE wiring loom. ARB Wiring Loom PN 3500520 is also required if the vehicle does not have OE fog lights.
The fog light surround is supplied in a natural black finish to complement the buffer design. A clear fog light cover is available separately under part number 3500680.
Driving Light Mounts.

The top pan includes laser-cut holes for the fitment of a range of compatible driving lights including ARB Intensity, ARB Solis, Bushranger Nighthawk, and IPF 800, 808, and 900 Series lights. Pinning holes for ARB Intensity and Solis lights are included.

Pressed Top Pan and Winch Cover
The top pan of the Summit range of bars features a press form to add strength and a 4mm aluminum press formed winch cover panel, for when no winch is being fitted.
When fitted, the winch cover panel is recessed in the press form top pan to give a level and integrated appearance. The cover is supplied in a matt black powder coat finish.
The Summit bar is compatible with the roller fairlead cover PN 3501070.

Antenna Mounts
Two aerial mounts are welded to the center cross tube to allow the fitment of UHF/AM radio, mobile phone aerials/antennas, or sand flags. Large diameter white aerials are not recommended to be fitted due to potential effect on the Lane-Keep Assist system (LAS).

Jack Points
ARB Jack or Hi-Lift jack points are located directly below the buffers.
The jack point is welded directly to the upright on either side and is designed to prevent the jack from interfering with the buffer.

Windscreen Washer Bottle
A replacement windscreen washer bottle is supplied with the ARB Summit Bar for the Pajero Sport. The OE washer bottle is designed to fill a cavity behind the bumper assembly. If this washer bottle was retained the under panels of the bar would have greatly affected both the approach angle of the vehicle offroad and also visually detract from the overall appearance.
To overcome these challenges a replacement washer bottle is supplied that enables under panels to be kept as high as practical. Washer bottle capacity (including filler neck) is approximately 2L. Note that this is reduced capacity compared to the OE washer bottle. The washer water low-level dashboard indicator is also not compatible with the replacement washer bottle.

Compatibility with ARB Recovery Points
The Pajero Sport Summit bar is compatible with ARB Recovery Point PN 2846020.
The Left-hand side point is unable to be fitted due to interference with an OE tie-down point. If the ARB Recovery Point 2846020 is to be fitted, it is
recommended that it is fitted at the same time as the bar fitment. To achieve the 8T rating, the ARB bar chassis mounts are integral to the rigidity of the structure and need to be mounted in conjunction with the recovery point. Please refer to PIB 72 for further information regarding the ARB recovery point.

Winch Model Fitment
The following winches fit the Pajero Sport ARB Summit Winch bar:

• Warn M8000, XD9000, 9.5XP, 9.5XDC
• Warn ZEON 8, 8-S, 10 and 10-S
• Warn ZEON Platinum 10 and 10-S
• Warn VR EVO 8, 8-S, 10 and 10-S
• Smittybilt Gen2 X20 10K.
• Bushranger Revo 10-S and 10-W

The Summit bar has an integrated control box mount that recesses the control
box lower in the pan. Different mount holes and control box brackets are provided to suit different winches. Winch fitting kit instructions have further information as to which mount hole or bracket is suitable.
Please note that not all winches on the market will have corresponding control box mount holes pre-drilled.

Additional fit kits are required depending on the winch being fitted:

• 3501000 WINCH INSTALL KIT. This kit includes a flip-up number plate
• bracket.
• Warn VR EVO require Warn PN 106928 KIT WIRE EXTENSION VR EVO
• Warn ZEON and ZEON Platinum fitment require Warn part No W89965
• Short Wiring Kit.
