The 1/2� thick UHMW features impressive resistance to denting, gouging, andrusting caused by blunt edge impacts or sliding over obstacles. A typical OEM plate�smaterial has a tensile strength of roughly 4500 PSI, while Seizmik�s UHMW material hasa tensile strength of 7010 PSI. And Seizmik�s plates are 4x thicker than the averageOEM plate.Installation is made easier with less drilling required thanks to the use of existing OEMmounting points and glass filled nylon frame clamps with brass inserts.
