Treading lightly and protecting our natural resources when out on the trail is imperative to ensure that future generations continue to have access to public land that is open for recreational off-roading. AEV’s Tree Strap allows a winch cable to be safely anchored to the tree’s trunk when recovering a stuck vehicle, without causing any permanent damage. Without using a Tree Strap, the steel cable or synthetic winch rope will heavily gouge a tree’s bark under the extreme forces that winching can generate—damage that can ultimately kill the tree. Using a Tree Strap displaces all that energy and preserves the tree.
