Dielectric grease keeps moisture out of electrical connections. Use dielectric grease all exposed metal wiring connections to prevent corrosion. Dielectric grease can also be used on battery terminals to keep them corrosion free. Dielectric grease is a translucent substance used to seal electrical conductors in order to prevent dirt, dust, sand, and other foreign materials from sticking to the conductor and preventing it from transferring a current between the two contact points. Dielectric grease also blocks moisture, thereby preventing corrosion. Caution: May cause eye or skin irritation. Avoid any contact with eyes and skin.
